I dont know what just happened but my sleep and hibernate options have disappeared hibernation no longer appears in the
list of options for shutdown of my computer and sleep doesnt work, have i disable it or some thing please help me .

. Run the command prompt as administrator.(go to start type run then right click on the icon "run" and choose run as administrator. press yes at the uac promt if it shows up then type cmd in the box and press enter
At the command prompt, type powercfg /hibernate on then press enter and done (might have to restart)
CXreate a short cut button on the desktop her eis how you can do it :
on your desktop Right click-> New -> Shortcut. Type shutdown.exe -h in the location field -> Next. now type Hibernate -> Finish now after finding it
Right click on the new Hibernate shortcut and click Properties.now Change Icon button, Click on OK at the pop-up window. Clear the white line to the left of the Browse button, then type %SystemRoot%\System32\powrprof.dll and press Enter.After go to icon highlighted in blue below and click on OK. Now click on ok to apply . just place it where you want it .
