My gateway laptop came with vista pre-installed and 1 day I got fed up with its bad performance therefore installed XP. Now I am short of drivers for it. I searched many websites but was not able to find the XP Drivers for Gateway DX4200 laptop. So if anybody could help me finding the required drivers I would really appreciate you help. Thank you

Did you check out gateway's website to make sure they offer your hardware's drivers for XP. As long as you have the drivers, necessary system requirements, and the OS disc, you can.
You can also download Everest which will give you all the details of your notebook specifications from which you can easily go to the manufacturer site and download all the required drivers.
