To add watermark from gimp in windows follow the given step :
Open image in GIMP >Text Tool > foreground/background colors tool > move the cursor over image where you want to put text > select GIMP Text Editor > type the text > Click Close > Click File > Save As new image with watermark.
Open GIMP. First, you'll need to open your photograph as well as your watermark.Select the "Layer" drop down menu and then "New Layer." Name your new layer “watermark.” From tool box select text, you should then be able to see your text on your digital art, although it will be faint. You can move the watermark by click on the 'move' tool in the toolbox. Now you will want to save your picture. Select "File," then "Save As".
