I have scientific Atlanta modem, i am accessing Internet through this modem. The problem is while accessing internet link light blinks on my scientific Atlanta modem and it display Error 678 "The remote computer did not respond". Does anyone know what causes this issue and how to fix it?Any help will be extremely appreciated.
The modem may have gone faulty if scientific Atlanta modem link light blinking Continuously.Make sure that the network cable is connected to the computer and to the modem. If your computer connects to a hub or to a router, make sure the cable that connects the hub or the router to the modem is connected.
You can't stop it from blinking, but you could make it blink all the time. link light indicates when data arrives from the cable network. If you have a broadband connection and are getting this error, it generally means that your TCP/IP stack is corrupted and needs to be restored.
Reseting option should be there in scientific Atlanta Modem, which can be solve the problem of blinking link light on scientific Atlanta modem. Some third-party firewall software such as ZoneAlarm and Norton Personal Firewall may cause Internet connectivity issues on computers.
