How to remove Microsoft .net framework assistant from firefox?
I did the windows update and the Microsoft update quietly installed the Microsoft .net framework assistant firefox extension . This is really annoying and i can't find any use of that extension. How can i remove that from my firefox?

Can't you uninstall it as you do other firefox extensions? There should be uninstall button in add-on manager.

Yes there is the uninstall button but its grayed out, i can't click on it. Its like microsoft forcing me for that extension.

Yes , same case was with me, do the following:
- Open Regedit by Start -> Run -> “regedit” (Ofcouse witout commas)
- Goto “HKEY_LOCAL_MACHINE\SOFTWARE\Mozilla\Firefox\extensions” or “HKEY_LOCAL_MACHINE\SOFTWARE\Wow6432Node\Mozilla\Firefox\extensions” for 64-bit versions of Windows
- You’ll see “{20a82645-c095-46ed-80e3-08825760534b}”. Right click it and click Delete.
- Restart Firefox.
