First create the boot disk and run the memory test using memtest. It can be because of faulty ram, try by changing it. Have you got another display adapter you could test? have you installed a new device or updated any drivers? There isn't enough information there to say very much apart from: error code 1000008e means "KERNEL_MODE_EXCEPTION_NOT_HANDLED_M".

Have you installed all the drivers? May be graphics drivers missing. Make sure you have installed all the drivers, i.e chipset drivers, graphics drivers, audio and any other drivers. And also do the Windows Updates, but don't install any Service Pack. Go to the system manufacturer's website and update any of those drivers before getting any Service Pack/s. It sometimes means a driver issue or a need for a BIOS upgrade
