D-Link WiFi router DIR-685
D-Link now offers its range in the DIR-685, which seems to be a success.
The least we can say about this D-Link DIR-685 is that it is very impressive, beginning in the aesthetic. No antenna is apparent (and yet it is a 802.11n WiFi router), and its 3.2-inch screen raises curiosity. This screen allows, in addition to display rates of the various connected networks (wireless, wireline and Internet), to have an eye on the weather or RSS feeds, but also to act as a digital photo frame. But this router goes even further, since it incorporates a hard drive bay for 2.5-inch SATA, transforming it into a de facto network storage system, with, moreover, a UPnP server, and a system of Download via BitTorrent and FTP server. In addition, it has two USB 2.0 ports to exploit technology SharePort manufacturer, paving the way for the network share USB devices such as printers or USB storage media.
It lacks an integrated ADSL modem. Its availability is immediate, but only from the Play.com website.

A high-capacity router and packed with features for homes and offices, the D-Link DIR-685 Wireless N Router Storage is one of the majority inventive models we've tested. It is also the first router who should not get hidden on a shelf somewhere, a 3.2-inch color. D-Link DIR-685 Wi-Fi router produces a lot of buzz at CES. And as soon as we acquire a look at its spec sheet, we imagine that a contender for best of the best in the category of router; which eventually displace the Linksys.
