Flickr for MAC OS
Working with a lot of photos to upload can be a pain, especially with any sort of web-based interface. No matter how well-designed the interface is, you're still in a web browser and suffer from the limitations therein. With flickery, a flickr.com desktop client for Mac OS X Leopard, you can easily upload your photos to flickr, manage your sets and favorites, view your contacts’ photos, search for photos in flickr’s database, comment, view the most “interesting” pictures and much more. All in one tiny, yet powerful application.
The software also allows users to take photos with their iSight cameras and desktop screen shots from within the client for quick posting. Flickery offers three views, including a miniature view, full window, and full screen view.MacHeist customers who have received Flickery as a gift, can purchase an upgrade for €7.50.
The Flickr desktop uploader sits on your desktop for heftier uploading needs or offline photo management. Drag and drop single photos or videos, or select a whole folder. Even reorder how photos will be displayed in your photostream.

Re: Flickr for MAC OS
In addition to letting you upload your photos in an easy and Mac-like fashion , Photonic is also a Flickr browser. Keep track of your contacts, groups, and even the past several days in Explore, all from Photonic. When you care to interact with a photo, right-click on it and you can be taken straight to the page on Flickr where you can read and leave comments as usual. Photonic enhances your already-excellent Flickr experience. You can seamlessly select loose images from the Finder or from iPhoto and then tag them, add them to sets and groups, and then upload them all in the Way of the Mac.Photonic can search Flickr as well, so you can sort though Flickr for that one photo of what you're thinking of and easily share it with friends.
System Requirements
- Mac OS X 10.5 Leopard
- 300-500MB disk space (used to keep local copies of images)
- A free or pro account at Flickr
- Photonic is a Universal Binary and works on both PowerPC and Intel Macs.

Re: Flickr for MAC OS
Flickery requires Mac OS X 10.5 Leopard, Universal Binary.A Flickr account is not necessary, but highly recommended. For flickery to work, an internet connection is required. It will not work without one.We recommend you have a flickr account (regular or pro) to use with flickery - to manage your favorites, comment on photos and contribute with your own photos. But flickery is designed to work with or without a flickr account.
