Hello,
I have brand new RCA DCM225 Modem. But i am not getting the best speed for my connection what i was getting before with my old modem. I think there must be something wrong with the configuration. Can anyone assist me on this?

If you are having problem with connectivity or speed, then it must me something to do with internet settings. Check your IP and DNS configuration and check out the RCA website for more information. Contact your ISP and let the technician check your settings of the modem.
If there is connectivity issue, you can release or renew an IP address even if the modem is in standby mode. When is in stand-by mode only the Internet or Power light will be off and other lights will be on.
It may be a hardware problem. You need to contact the dealer and tell them to access the modem. Check the internet cable is connected to the modem property and the modem is connected to the computer. Plug the cables correctly and restart your computer. Also check the browser;s internet settings.
