* POP server: pop3.live.com
* POP SSL required
* User name: Your Windows Live ID, for example [email protected]
* Password: The password you usually use to sign in to Hotmail or Windows Live
* SMTP server: smtp.live.com
* Authentication required (this matches your POP username and password)
* TLS/SSL required? Yes

Microsoft has enabled POP3 email access for all users of their Hotmail email service. If you don't have premium account hotmail will not support pop3.
