Re: Hard drive freezes on clicking anything
Your computer is infected with viruses or adware. Install some good antivirus and run system scan to remove such infections. Also run anti-adware application for more safety. There are plenty of free antivirus programs available on the internet.
Re: Hard drive freezes on clicking anything
Try this:
- Right click on D:
- Click on Properties
- Then Go to Tools
- Click on Check Now under Error Checking
- select the both the check boxes
- Then click Start
- Confirm to scan at next startup
Re: Hard drive freezes on clicking anything
It is possible that your hard drive is faulty. Check the hard drive on another cabinet or you can get or borrow another drive and check it on the same. Most of the cases it is hard drive issue. This might be a mechanical problem and you need hardware experts help to fix it.
