Windows control panel command line
Hey guys, can anyone help me with Windows control panel command line opening shortcut? Can i open control panel from command prompt or 'Run' from start menu? I have Windows XP installed on my computer. I'm trying to master Windows OS by researching and taking help from friends. Please help guys... :biggrin:

Yeah, you can do it both ways : from command prompt and also from 'Run'. Just type "control" without quotes in 'Run' dialog box or command prompt, and Control Panel will open. :thumbup1:

There are commands for accessing the contents of control panel via a single command. Here are some that i know :
Add/Remove Programs : appwiz.cpl
Device Manager : devmgmt.msc
Group Policy Editor : gpedit.msc

Hey, Thanks a lot guys, Now one thing i'm clear about it, if you are good with shortcuts, you will hate using a mouse until you want to play an FPS game. :ohyeah: I found this for Task Manager : "taskmgr" :cool:
