Internet explorer 7 is stuck on one page

Hi,

My Internet explorer 7 is stuck on one page. I've searched the net, tried several options short of reinstalling Windows without results. when I go to Tools/Options to change my home page - it's greyed out and keeps defaulting to MSN. I have Windows XP on my pc. Please can anybody give me any help or suggestions.

Back up the registry first and then try the following registry patch :

Have you activated javascript ? To enable javascript, Click on the Tools button (the picture of the gear) or “Tools” from the program menu. Click Web Content. Under Active scripting, check Enable. Under Active scripting, check Enable.

Clearing the useless data might help you. Go to Tools, click on Options. Under the general tab under 'Temporary Internet files' choose 'Delete Files...' and then click OK. Close Internet Explorer 7 browser and restart it.
