I have Internet explorer 7 as my default browser. Whenever i open a new tab in IE7, IE is freezing and the only way is killing the priocess using the windows task manager. What can be causing the problem?
Could you please fix that problem?

Try Reset IE 7 to its original configuration, for doing this go to Tools, under Internet Options, click on Advanced tab, under Reset Internet Explorer, click on Settings and click Reset. Incorrect configuration settings may be the cause of the problem. If any of the categories fail to reset, it is because Internet Explorer could not access a file or registry setting.
A problem with an incompatible add-on or similar conflicting software, and the trick you described is working around it. To do this create a shortcut on your desktop with the following target path : "C:\Program Files\Internet Explorer\iexplore.exe" -extoff, This may be helpful to you.
This might be due to add-ons. To do this : start Internet Explorer with add-ons disabled. To do this, click Start, click Programs, point to Accessories, point to System Tools, and then click Internet Explorer (No Add-ons). If the problem does not occur after you use this method, use Manage Add-ons to determine which add-ons are causing the problem.
