Free/Busy in Entourage and Outlook with Exchange 2007
I have decided to upgrade from Exchange 2003 to Exchange 2007. I have notice that for the Windows users, the upgradation was transparent. For the Mac users it was not so transparent. Our Entourage clients are set up exactly the same. To be clear, it's not that their free/busy info isn't available, it's they can't access it for anyone. The specific users have the problem consistently on any machine. The same accounts that can't view free/busy, fail the Entourage auto account setup process, but succeed with the Outlook 2007 auto account setup process.

On the Entourage front I would carefully check the LDAP information listed in the Entourage 2008 setup. Double-check your public folder server address by logging in to one of your accounts using Outlook for Windows. While Outlook is running, hold the Control key while you also right-click the Outlook icon in the System Tray near the clock and select "status".
Re: Free/Busy in Entourage and Outlook with Exchange 2007
LDAP seems to be working since all other functions in Outlook and Entourage are working. GAL lookups work and can resolve names when hitting check name. Microsoft said the Entourage for Web Services offers better integration between Entourage and Exchange Server and feature greater parity between Entourage and Outlook for Windows. The Entourage beta also supports the use of attachments in Entourage for Exchange-based calendar events. While Outlook users have these abilities, current Entourage users don't.
