Hello, I have recently downloaded this free UHARC compressor but I dont know how to use it pratically? So can anyone tell me how to use UHARC compressor, any tips would be welcomed. Also if possible, is there any alternative for this similar type of software available over the net because I really didnt like the interface of UHARC compressor software that much. Thank you
Yes, there are many alternatives similar like the UHARC compressor, one which is called Super Ultra Compressor.
Download Super Ultra Compressor - Compress 1 Gb to 1MB
To compress, use the following switches
uharc a -m3 -mm+ -md32768 -pf -vm+ -r+ archive folder\*.*
To decompress, use followwing
uharc x -o- -y+ -vm+ archive.uha
* Note *
folder = is a folder name which contains the files and sub-folders to be compressed (archived)
archive = name of compressed file (archive) to be created

However, I never toyed with 7z, uharc, or WinUHA so I didn't want to suggest it, I only make suggestions based on personal experience, personal testing, or if it is from a reputable source.
