Some compact digital cameras “wash out” color in brightly lit areas -- but the Sony DSC-N2 controls the light level received by its CCD imager to reduce washout and improve color reproduction.

With precision lens design and 3X Optical zoom, you can capture dramatic long-shots and frame images for better composition and the precision Sony 2X Digital zoom function lets you enlarge image areas without jagged edges.
3.0”2 Clear Photo LCD Plus Screen

This huge screen makes it easier to read camera menus, compose shots and share results. In addition to normal autofocus mode, the DSC-N2 lets you focus on a subject by just touching it on your LCD screen -- a fast and simple way to adjust focus for complex scenes or moving subjects. You can capture images in-camera, without using a flash memory card -- or use optional Memory Stick Duo media for ultra-compact, high-capacity shooting and recording.


In MPEG VX Fine Mode, the DSC-N2 captures VGA (640 x 480) audio/video clips at high frame rate of up to 30 frames per second4 -- with length limited only by the capacity of your media. Video Mail Mode lets you capture smaller file sizes suitable for e-mail. A high-stamina NP-BG1 Lithium Ion battery lets the DSC-N2 shoot up to 300 images3, giving you plenty of power when traveling or shooting on location.
