I Have a Windows Xp Service pack 2 System, I Wanted to know is there is any need to install Nvida Smbus Drivers , the problem is that my pc is Running low on Graphics and Harddisk and Folder Access time is very slow , I Think i have install the graphics drivers and but i wanted to ask is smbus drivers is really necessary to install , Thanks in advance
Hello , I dont Think the slowdown is caused by the smbus drivers , instead your graphic drivers may not have been installed , or there maybe some IRQ conflict. And did u install the GART drivers ?
Right click on the desktop then from properties select "settings" tab ,click advanced select the "map" tab and from there you will have Access all the info on your graphics card, which you may help them to find the driver that you want and after that you download the driver and install . by way the i did not understand what are gart drivers
Gart driver is the driver for the AGP slot. Without which your graphics card will not work with AGP 8x, Also required if a motherboard is AGP port. Without GART driver the AGP mode is not available. The graphics card will be running in PCI compatibility mode without GART driver . It also can no longer textures via AGP in the system memory to be written, but only via the old fashioned way.
