How to change the way users log on in vista
I have been using Microsoft Windows XP pro on my computer for many years till recently i installed Windows Vista Ultimate. How do i change the way users log on and log off. It was easy in windows xp, but i have not tried doing it in Vista. Vista is too scary and i don't want to screw anything up. Please guide me..
Re: How to change the way users log on in vista
The GUI login is the default method of login and it is the only way to login to a computer. There is a way to force users to use Ctrl+Alt+Del to use secure logins, but still you have to go through the welcome screen. Hope someone may find a way to go back to the old alternative logon, but Microsoft is not planning on offering that in Vista.

How is that possible? I have seen this at a friend's place. I have a computer with 4 user accounts and i don't want anyone to see other's login box there. Instead everyone must type in the username and password for thier account. Help guys!
