I have my own business setup and in regards of that i need to communicate overseas with the client and for that i prefer yahoo messenger service, we both are paid users so we can communicate but the problem is that when we connect, he could hears me very well but I am unable to hear him. I looked at the Volume Control Dialog Box in Playback his Microphone is not muted and the volume bar is up. Under Recording the microphone is selected.
You will get the speaker icon in the right hand system tray, Double click on the speaker icon in the system tray to bring up windows volume control.
Then Go to options, and set for the properties.
Select adjust volume for recording.Make sure microphone is ticked.And click ok.Select the microphone in the windows volume control.
Your microphone is now on. Just set the appropriate volume for the mic.
In sound Studio, go to Preferences and make sure Input has Internal Microphone selected. You should then get sound.Or Go to control menu/sound & Audio device/Audio device select the microphone and u sound card device. ok test it.
