Nokia PC Suite for Windows 7

Hi Guys,

I'm having Nokia 5300 , the PC suit CD that came with it is not compatible with the windows 7, it was working fine with Windows XP. IF some know how to use it on Windows 7 or Widows 7 compatible PC suite is available then please let me know the same.

Follow The Following Steps:

1. First Download the latest version of Nokia PC suite from here http://www.nokia.co.in/A4745502 , and save the setup file to your Hard Drive.
   
   
2. Now locate the Setup Installer and Right Click on the Setup file and and select ‘Troubleshoot Compatibility’ .
   
   
3. Now in the Program Compatibility window check the following two options:
   
   
   
   • This ran in a previous version of Windows.
   • This application requires additional permissions.
   
   
   
4. Now click the Next and in the next screen of this compatibility wizard simply choose the Windows Vista compatibility. Now it will Run the PC suite program and complete through Compatibility wizard and in the last screen Select 'Save these settings' to save the compatibility settings for Nokia PC suite.

Nice post paxton, I never had problem with any software in windows 7 by using Troubleshoot Compatibility mode. Its really nice feature supported by windows 7. I have run many games and applications like this.
