I'm using VMWare 4.6 and i have installed windows vista on my system (virtual machine). My virtual machine is connected to network. I am trying to connect my virtual machine remotely using RDC. When i try to connect it remote connection fails from virtual machine. Does anyone what are stepwise procedure to setup RDC on virtual machine. Any help will be extremely appreciated.
To solve the problem you need to check the Remote desktop is enable on the Virtual Machine. To check that right click on my computer go to properties then select remote tab and that setting is enabled or not.

Your problem is related with networking it is not an RDC issue when you try to connect RDC on virtual machine it must be configure to share with another virtual machine. Your Virtual machine cannot use "Sharing (NAT)" if you want to be able to connect to it from another machine.
