With TwonkyMedia manager you can streams your music, photos and videos to compatible devices in your home. Playing media on a compatible device is easy. Just drag and drop a media file or playlist onto the icon for the device. To know the installation process, see this :- Go to the DS-207+ admin page, ensure that you have build 702 of the Synology firmware or later and enable telnet support.Place the Twonky CS-407 package on a PC and follow the instructions in the packaging. When you first login as part of the install process you will need to prodvide the "root" login ID and password combination, this is not the "admin" login combination and you may have to create a root user in the DS-207+ before you can get started.

I would recommend a QNAP NAS , I have the 109 750 gb version. It has Twonkymedia Media server preinstalled and is fully upnp compliant. After scanning your hard disk, TwonkyMedia manager should display music, photos andvideo. If you don’t see any media when you open TwonkyMedia manager. Go to the ServerSettings page and make sure the Content Paths point to folders that contain media.Next, you should right-click on all of the icons that appear in the Play Here section and name and assign icons to all of your devices.Make sure to regularly check for updates by going to the General Settings page and clicking on the Check for Update button.

Download Synology DS-207 with all the required files you need to install Twonkymedia.Remember when updating to later versions some of these get overwritten from time to time. So keep a note of the settings that you've used, and don't lose your Twonky registration/activation key.Unzip the twonky installation file to a directory on your harddrive. Open up with notepad install.nas file which was in the zip.
