I and my group have been assigned a small project to develop a college database using Java in my college. I need some sample Java codes related to college so as to get an idea or some Java applications that will help me programming better.......please give some ideas regarding this

You can create the college timetable. To do this, use Simple Timetable Manager 1.1 .
Requirements - Windows NT + IIS or Windows 95/98 + PWS, that is a windows-based system plus a web server. This program may help if you need to publish a simple railroad/ bus/ flights timetable.
There are two binary files :
- to create the database your site will depend on, and
- to perform the actual search.
