Need command to convert xls to xlsx in excel 2007

Hi,

I have an excel 2007 which supports only XLSX format. I have downloaded the compatibility pack from Microsoft which is very useful. but i am tired of using the compatibility pack every time. is there any command or a batch file which I can use to convert xls to xlsx in excel 2007.
