Install Filesync In Vista?
hi,
i download FileSync 2.0.8 for my windows vista,When I sync, the files section on Activesync states that there is one file not syncronised. The specific file in the FileSync folder that is 2.5 GB is an iDisk File. FileSync is one of my all-time favorite utilities.

First, sometimes a file will not sync on initial connect, but will sync if you right click the files icon and select sync now.
If not, take a look at the steps locate at http://bevhoward.com/ASync.htm#Resolve and see if that allows you to id,the problem file... an alternate option is to remove all files to another location (outside of the sync folder) and sync, then replace those files and resync... note... you can loose file updates this way.

Now there is an easier way. SyncToy, a free PowerToy for Microsoft Windows, is an easy to use, highly customizable program that helps users to do the heavy lifting involved with the copying, moving, and synchronization of different directories. Most common operations can be performed with just a few clicks of the mouse, and additional customization is available without additional complexity. SyncToy can manage multiple sets of folders at the same time; it can combine files from two folders in one case, and mimic renames and deletes in another case. Unlike other applications, SyncToy actually keeps track of renames to files and will make sure those changes get carried over to the synchronized folder.
