WS2008 - can 'Windows Photo Gallery Viewer' be used.
I have Server 2008 64bit and need to just view JPG files - actually my
Terminal Services users need to view JPGs (not many users and not often).
Can 'Windows Photo Gallery Viewer' be used without breaking 2008
OR
maybe something simpler - it just needs to be able to have JPGs associated
as the users will dble-click JPGs.
If 'Windows Photo Gallery Viewer' is good then where can I get it from as a
download. I have looked at the MS site and can only find this app talked
about in the context of various Vista editions.

Re: WS2008 - can 'Windows Photo Gallery Viewer' be used.
I don't want to use Paint.
When you said "ms picture viewer" did you explicitly mean "ms picture
viewer" or were you referring to "ms picture and fax viewer" (the official
name).
If so I just cannot find a download. Could it be locked into specific
versions of Vista and so not available as a standalone?

Hello ThomasAJ,
Did you install the "Windows desktop experience" from the server manager,
features, add feature? This also includes the Windows Photo Gallery viewer.
