Intel Chipset drivers in Windows 7
Hi,
Can we install Vista's driver of Intel Chipset in Windows 7, because they were generally made for Vista, and installing these drivers may create any problem while transfering problem because my Windows already knows what my chipset is....
Did anyone here tried installing them? Please let me know if they have done something like that...
Regards

I have read, on most of the blogs that, do not use the drivers of different OS to some other OS,because it will simply does not support the device.Either it may give error at installation or during running the Devices.

Hey stephanie,
But why do you need vista drivers to run on Windows 7, the drivers for the Intel chipset on windows 7 are available for download here, download it and installed on your system.
Here is it:

There wouldn't be any harm from installing it - especially if you have poor hard drive performance (as a couple of people here have fixed that by installing the correct chipset drivers).
I've installed them on my PC and they work great.
