I have recently downloaded the ccleaner program,it give the problem when i open Internet Connection Wizard it keeps randomly dropping,windows explorer.exe keeps crashing.Is this problem even a possible result of the registry cleaning? I also installed more memory but I doubt that would be the cause.
Do a System Restore to a date prior to running CCleaner.
- Go to start
- click on run
- in the open box, type: cmd
- a black screen wil open
- type in there the command: sfc /scannow
- (note the space between sfc and the /)
- press enter
Have your system cd available when doing the above command, as it might or may not ask you to insert your system cd.
Try repairing it from the add/remove programs when logged in under that profile.
Add/remove | Change | repair.
