Core temperature
I have a doubt, I see that the temperature of my processor cores is excessive when compared with the temperature of the processor, see:
Temperature plate base 31
Temperature processor 18
Temperature CPU/Core #1 39
Temperature CPU/Core #2 37
Temperature CPU/Core #1 37
Temperature CPU/Core #1 39
Is this normal? I have a Q9300.

Re: Core temperature
Many do not understand this, but Google a bit. I think they are normal temperatures. In any program that you have measured? Because I've seen out there that varies from one to another.

Re: Core temperature
Well it's normal
however ''processor'' temperature (18ยบ) is wrong, are you using Everest really?

Re: Core temperature
Yes, using Everest, but I check the Bios CPU temperature, which says Everest.

Re: Core temperature
Without knowing other information, such as temperature, done overclock or the fan of the enclosure, the temperature of the nuclei appear normal at rest, even good. That seems unlikely is the encapsulation of micro, low.

Re: Core temperature
Well it seems you are quite right, just look at me now and mark Bios 21-22 degrees, and in Everest I get 18, I have the right, then, that is thought to change the heatsink, I bought a noctua . Would it be good change?
Moreover, I did not overclock, and the ambient temperature is good, you could say that about 18 degrees or so.

Re: Core temperature
The Noctua is very good. With a good thermal paste and properly anchored to the plate, you should keep at bay the perfect temperature.
