Hi,
I cannot view chat history of contacts in my windows live messenger. When i try to open it with internet explorer, i get "The XML page cannot be displayed. Cannot view XML input using style sheet. Please correct the error and then click the Refresh button, or try again later." What to do now?

Try to reinstall the program and update to the latest version. To view the history of the contacts. Click on it to open the window. On the window click File and then click on the second last option i.e. View Message History.
If you are using Internet Explorer 7, then this is a known issue involving msn messenger. It's IE7B2 preview that is causing this error. It's a known issue with it not being able to handle spaces in the xml path. A workaround for it is to put the history folder in a directory structure with no spaces.(for e.g., c:\history\)
I am agree with Trio. Also you can open the xml files in Firefox or you can just downgrade to Internet Explorer 6. Hope this helps.
