HI guys i had this LCD monitor for more or less 2 years, and it is working good, after couple of months that we dont use it this problem occur,when i turn it on the pictures shows and for just a few seconds and it turns out totaly black, the green light glowing it means it is on, but no pictures at all. i had changed the monitor cable and the problem still the same.

Have you tested the monitor on some other computer? What is your computer specifications? There might be a problem related with your graphic card as well if it is installed? If your monitor is in warranty then try replacing it.
check your setup to see that all cables are properly and firmly attached.
what kind of computer is it? (be specific as possible) do you know of any recent changes that have occurred?
I know what you are talking about. When you turn it on the computer in my case does the same thing. Turns black...so what I found out was by hitting the power button off and on until you got your graphics back up on the computer worked. But it's such an inconvience.
In my case it may be the monitor but if not..my next guess is the graphics card. Hope this helped you somewhat.
It sounds like the power supply board on your monitor is failing. If it's still under warranty you might be able to get a replacement from the manufacturer - if not, you might be able to have it repaired at a computer or TV repair shop. Besides, try the monitor on a different computer. That way you can narrow down the issue. But since the monitor light remains green there is obviously a hardware fault.
