"invalid partition table" error

i have Processor: Intel Core 2 Quad Q9550 2.83GHz 1333MHz,Mainboard: Gigabyte GA-EP45-DS3,Graphics card: SAPPHIRE HD 4850,Hard Drives: Samsung S-Ata, 2x 160GB, Samsung 1x 500GB,CD-Rom: LG 52x,S-ata DVD-Rom: LG 16x,S-ATA DVD burner: SH-223f,Samsung S-Ata, 2x 160GB, Samsung 1x 500GB,I am getting error message "Invalid Partition Table" on my computer on start up and the computer booted using the Windows vista Home CD.I rebooted one more, and then many times more.

The system examined the master partition table to determine what volume to use to boot the operating system, and found invalid information within it.. One way that this message can occur is if more than one partition is set "active" or bootable; only one is allowed to be at a time. It is possible that the master partition table has become corrupted.The standard DOS and Windows disk utilities will not allow you to set more than one partition active. If you are using any funky utilities to manipulate the partitions, for example in a multiple-operating-system environment, run the utility from a floppy disk and make sure only one partition is set active.

Try copying the boot.ini, ntdetect.com, ntldr files from the windows partition to the small partition. You should be able to do that via the Ubuntu CD, or by using some other OS that loads from CD and can read ntfs partitions.

Please run Partition Table Doctor, and it will report some messages as follows:
ERROR: Invalid Boot Indicator of primary partitions on Harddisk1.
