Hi friends,
I am facing an issue when i am playing Counter Strike Online.As i have mention in my title whenever i play online it's pinging very slow can anyone tell me what steps i need to follow for reducing the latency of the game.Thanks in advance.
Following are my PC Configuration:-
Intel Core 2 Duo 2.8 Ghz
G31 Asrock Motherboard with Intel chipset
2gb RAM
256 Nvidia Graphic Card
200gb HDD
Sure i will help you out with this issue may i know which connection are you using example Dial-up or Broadband.
I am using Dial-up Connection while playing Counter Strike.

First of all stop using Dial-up Connection and use Broadband Connection with more speed,this will help you to reduce much more your latencyQuote:

Check how much latency are you getting while palying game if you are getting high latency/ping in the game the first and the foremost thing you should do is to change your ISP, changing the Internet Service Provider will solve your problem.
There are many Solution i have mentioned some of those which is very common:-
- If you are facing uneven (quite high latency one moment and quite low the other) then it is sure a virus/spyware infection. Run a good updated Anti Virus scan to clean the system .
- Also check the Hardware used for playing also plays an important role in reducing the ping.
- Try to run least number of programs in the background so that the game can utilize all the bandwidth of the internet solely.
i play cs 1.6, when i check my internet speed it shows 50ms pings but when i enter in game it shows more than 200ms. i couldn't find the solution. Am using wireless connection through belkin router and am using reliance broadband connection. pls help me out.
