Problem with PCI slot

Hey everyone,

Recently i had tried to put a network card in my old Packard Bell. After that it's not rebooting and asking me to stick any card in the PCI slot to reboot. I don't understand why i'm facing such problem? Can any one help me out to resolve this issue?

Hey try to follow the below steps mention.

1. Try to determine if there is a problem with the physical PCI slot by reversing the order of both PCI cards, or try plugging just the soundcard to slot 2. Try to see if any of the pin in the PCI slot on the motherboard are damaged.

2. You should also check the PCI settings in the BIOS. If you are unsure, check out the BIOS settings.

Try to disable card which you have inserted in slot 2, if you already have in slot 1. Those slots share a PCI-X bus. If in case, you are not using the NIC in slot 2 remove it. If you need the card in the server for some kind of test, then follow the slot order below and then disable your card.
