but not in real time. In that sense, differnt from other sound cards, in the properties of reproduction, if select Properties / Levels Only the cursor appears on the speakers.
It also does not appear in the mixer or the line-in or mic input. Programs like Audacity or Goldwave show the levels of input but works nothing,Who can help me? please reply me thank you
Re: Problem with SigmaTel High Definition Audio Codec in Vista
Vista: Use the line input of your sound card:
You can use the line input of your sound card to connect to the computer a portable music player, a microphone or other audio input device. Most sound cards have at least one port line output for connecting speakers and a line input port to which you can connect an audio input device.
The connection line input to your sound card, however, is disabled by default. This means that if you connect an audio device to this port, your computer will not be no sound until you the ability to connect audio line input.
To enable the connection for audio line input:
Control Panel, Classic View, Audio.
Playback tab, click Speakers, and then click Properties.
Click the Layers tab and then, in line input, click Disable to enable the connection for audio line input (for deafault is disabled).
Re: Problem with SigmaTel High Definition Audio Codec in Vista
By following the procedure below, does the audience in real time by
mic front door but not from the rear and from the line, even
if the two ports continue to allow recording. While setting
as a source of registration do not allow real-time listening.
1) Open regedit (Start-> Run, type regedit)
2) Navigate to
HKEY_LOCAL_MACHINE \ SYSTEM \ ControlSet001 \ Control \ Cl ass \ (4D36E96C-E325-11CE-BFC1-08002BE10318) \ 0000 \ Settings \ filter \ SpeakerHp \
3) Create a new Binary Value
4) Give it the name EnableInputMonitor
5) Set it's value to 01
6) Restart your machine
7) Open your Playback Devices (right click on volume control icon in system
tray, select Playback Devices)
8) Open the Speakers / Headphones
9) Go to the levels tab
10) unmute the input monitor

Re: Problem with SigmaTel High Definition Audio Codec in Vista
1 - I open the registry with regedit
2 - arrived in the path HKEY_LOCAL_MACHINE \ SYSTEM \ ControlSet001 \ Control \ Cl ass \ (4D36E96C-E325-11CE-BFC1-08002BE10318) \ 0000 \ you mentioned, I realized that there was no Settings folder, so I started look around. On that path there were several options for speakers, audio, and then I realized that I could not be far away. Also in the key AD1984A \ Disable I found, looks a little ', three items: MicBP, MicBR and MicV, alchè
3 - I set the three above items to 00, then I closed the registry and rebooted the machine.
Now on Audio -> Playback device -> properties Speakers -> I have the microphone levels, in addition to the signal PC and the master.
