Windows Live Messenger with error 81000306
Hello everyone,
I'm facing problem while logging into my Windows Live Messenger, i get an error which states " Error 81000306 ". It indicates that the problem could be caused by a firewall, proxy settings, DNS cache. I tried to follow all Microsoft's instructions, but couldn't succeed in resolving the issue. Can any one help me out with this issue?

Try out the following steps.
1) Clear the Windows Live Messenger proxy settings
1. Start Messenger.
2. Select Tools, and then click Options.
3. Under Connection, click Advanced Settings.
4. Delete the entries under SOCKS.
5. Click OK, and then click OK again.
2) If your computer is running Windows XP, clear the DNS resolver cache
1. On the taskbar, click Start, and then click Run.
2. Type cmd, and then click OK.
3. At the command prompt, type ipconfig/flushdns, and then press ENTER.
3) If you're still unable to sign in to Messenger

Hey are you using Windows Vista on your system? If yes, then disable the Auto Tuning Networking feature. Follow the below mention steps.
1. Click Start, click All Programs, click Accessories, and then right-click Command Prompt and choose Run as administrator.
2. Click Continue when Windows requests permission to continue.
3. At the command prompt, type the following command, and then press ENTER: netsh interface tcp set global autotuninglevel=disabled
Note: This command disables the Window Auto Tuning feature.
4. After you disable the Auto Tuning Networking feature, verify if you are able to sign into Messenger.

Hey even i was facing the same problem some days before then i followed the below steps mention.
1) Click start
2) Type: cmd
3) Right-click cmd.exe when it appears under Applications
4) Click Run As Administrator
5) Type the following: netsh int tcp set global autotuninglevel=disabled
6) Press enter
7) Restart your computer
