I am playing a little with my E8500 and I have set Vcore in the BIOS to 1.46, the Everest says this (but it is never exactly as you put it in the BIOS), anyways both OCCT and CPU-Z says 1.38, which I believe is more realistic, and I hope it is. But which one should I trust?
EDIT: CPUID HW Monitor also say 1.38 - but I want to be absolutely sure before I go further in my OC, it would be less fat if Everest gives the truth and I destroyed it by putting too much VC to.

Software readings can often not perfect too much :yes:
Vdrop & Vdroop I've never understood what it is something all together,
what is the alternative that I measure it manually with the electric meter and everything?
And why do you say I should not go into it? :(
I think CPU-Z is the best when comes to system information especially in situations when we do overclocking. In many situations it has proved itself and it is one of the best software recommended by most of the overclockers out there. So don't worry and always trust CPU-Z readings. And by the way, if you want to download the latest version of CPU-Z then go for CPU-Z 1.53.2 Beta.
