I have PerfectDisk installed on XP Pro 32 bit, and it's excellent.I have never tred Vista 64-bit but PerfectDisk may work for you it supports x64.also it has option to avoid conflict with restore points.

Perfectdisk is a best defragmenter , except for x64 systems seemingly. for that the driver it installs is quite problematic .Boot mode never worked either.
Diskeeper isn't that good and I am not interested to pay company itself. It feels like you're paying for little more than the brand name

You can also go for Vopt v9.08.1 which is one of the fastest I've ever seen. I use tightest mode for drives with video files. Like Perfect Disk it can operate in a very low free space environment not like the built in Windows defrager or Diskeeper which it's based on. Vopt also built in such as cleanup. You can try it out for 30 days to see if you like it.
