Super Talent presents three new SSD for Netbook
Super Talent to offer alternatives to the Solid State Drive offers Netbook in some configurations, such as the Asus Eee PC S101. Remember that with Solid State Drive refers to a particular family of storage units based on chip memory, while not compromise with the performance.
The three models in fact belong to a family that promises an upgrade in terms of capacity, providing models of 16GB, 32GB and 64GB. In the margins of these capacities, the new units promise excellent values in terms of transfer rate, because they are declared to 90MB / s read and 55MB / s write.
The form factor of these new discs is not the classic 2.5 "typical of the world but on notebook card, connected through the Netbook Mini PCIe SATA interface. This solution is often preferred to the usual 2.5-inch drives for space much smaller, making them suitable for small PCs such as in Netbook.
The most expensive of the new Super Talent SSD, 64GB from what, you will get something like 130 Euro. There is no information regarding the prices of two models less capacious.

Are small and are slow. Even if the price is finally down, there is virtually no reason to take them. Perhaps the silent (but the noise makes a 2.5 "notebook?) Or reliability, but is still not certain to 100%..
Re: Super Talent presents three new SSD for Netbook
These are solution for SATA miniPCI. The competition serves about 2.5 SATA. It would be nice to see products like those of Intel at a price a little more ... These solutions are ideal for the Netbook, where consumption is crucial: low battery autonomy means little to the benefit of the weight and price.
Re: Super Talent presents three new SSD for Netbook
In spite of the criticism of someone I consider the data as good as the price certainly is a start, but considering that we have read about 50-60 MB/s if the 90 were not real I see it so badly. Basically no laptop is designed to mount or mistake? In my case, maybe I remove the wireless touches.
