MSI P35 Neo2-FR motherboard

Hi !
I've been using the MSI P35 Neo2-FR board for about 8 months now and have Palit 9800GT Sonic, which giving me problem now. After I have removed power from my system and installed the card, I started the system and it booted normally. It gave me a chance to choose safe mode option, but the system hanged while going to safe mode and it restarted by itself. Upon restart, the VGA BIOS info flashed on the screen then didn't display anything. I removed power and cleared CMOS then restarted again but still no display. I also reseated the video card, memory and CMOS battery but it didn't helped. I'm quite stuck now... Please help... Need your help

Does the system still works with any other video cards?

Can you please provide full system information, including PSU Specs? Read the Posting Guide to get an idea of what we need to know.

Here is my Specs:

• MSI P35-Neo2-FR
• Intel C2D 6420
• 4 x 1GB Team Elite DDR2-800
• Palit 9800GT Sonic
• HEC Winpower 550W
• 80 & 250GB Seagate Barracuda SATA

I have Palit ATI 4830 also . I'll swap later and will post what happens.

Yes. If that still works fine, please try to test the new card in another system.

Thanks for the help. I managed to solve my problem by replacing the CMOS battery and removing one pair of my Team Elite sticks that is not detected. My system is now ok even if I didn't switched to the old card.
