First steps in Active Directory
Im practicing networking at home, and have Server2003 administering a couple computers (all virtualized). I have AD, DNS, DHCP all working.
What would be the first steps in setting up active directory for a business environment? What users/groups and permissions would be best created first?
Does the domain admin need a backup user account in case they somehow are locked out?
thanks for any guidance here.

Here is the step by step guide which provides an in-depth understanding of Active Directory and explains how to implement and work with it in your environment. Just go through with it.

If you create a backup user account, it will be good to remain safe. If the admin's account gets corrupted or unaccessible due to any reason, this backup user account will be helpful.
