Problem in Touch-Pad of Laptops
Hello Techies,
My Laptop is behaving insane as if it has developed a mind of his own, it's touch is working intermittently. The issue is that it works absolutely fine when i use the outside edges of the rectangular pad but not so great in the middle.
I do have options such as giving it a Flash Spray Treatment but before doing i want to ask about other options.
Please help.
Re: Problem in Touch-Pad of Laptops
Even mine is acting the same way over this past week. I tried changing the sensitivity settings but no effect. I thought it might just be some crud underneath it and was thinking about taking it apart and possibly cleaning it.
Re: Problem in Touch-Pad of Laptops
The actual problem i had was I did be typing away and the cursor would move and my words would end up mingled in a completely different sentence, I used to have a problem with cursor jump.
Thinking of giving it some Flash Treatment.

The working of the touchpad can be known by referring this.
I do occasionally give mine a swipe with nail varnish remover so maybe try something like that?
Re: Problem in Touch-Pad of Laptops
Thanks for your prompt reply, Ill try your idea of the acetone and see if it makes a difference.
I came across someone stating that it could be due to corrupt drivers I know that windows has done a few updates of recent so it could be that - especially as another user has had the same problem.
I will try cleaning the pad as an extra measure though, but thanks for it anyways.
