Hi all,
I don't know why this happens but it is really annoying whenever i plug my iPhone to my PC it automatically starts backup process and adding to it.....it easily wastes 15-20 minutes of my time... do some thing guys.
I'd like to be able to just plug it in and sync like I do with my iPod...not wait a quarter of an hour...this is absolutely ridiculous, time consuming and irritating.
Please help..............
It's really ridiculous if it takes more than 10-15 minutes, that is pretty ridiculous. Just click on the little 'x' at the top right of the status area where it says 'Backing up *youriPhonename*' and you can stop it .
Are you on latest 2.2 firmware
If you also have the newest iTunes Software then just hit the 'x' to end it one time, and hope that it 'corrects itself' on next sync, or after next reboot of iPhone / computer.
The similar thing happened with me when it use to tale a lot of time to backup but after 2.2 it happens rarely now......
