I have a (GForce FX 5600), 256 ram. Is there any mod software for it to switch to 5700. Already had overclocked it manually which I did (334 core clock, memory clock 522).
My little cooler has no danger of it, is of the prolink pixelview.
Anybody who provide tip.
In the old generation of graphics cards (like the Geforce FX5200, MX4400) is also possible to perform an overclock updating the BIOS of your graphics card.
The software "Nvidia Bios Editor" allows access to the current version of the bios, then just check the Internet if there is a Bios later and use the "nVFlash" of nvidia to update the BIOS. "
And maybe you get lucky with one of the software available.
Yes it is possible. The Fx5600 and 5700 differ only in Clocks. (on Main ipio+)
So what you have to do is the following ..
1) Get a bios of a 5700 of the same brand that has the same features. Check on ADRs, which are several of the same brand and same timings
2) Manually do overclock of 5600 up to 5700's Clocks and see if they hold.
3) If they hold then flash the overclock of 5700 .. always making a backup of the present will not be required to make the former reflash RMA .. lol
So, if you follow the steps you'll see all you can go for the Bombing (if possible within that range)
The tips are nice but alongwith do take care of the temperatures while carrying out these tasks.
