Opinion on my current configuration
After some research and demand in certain forum, I made a config which falls within my budget and to acquire this New Year (first week of JAN).
Motherboard: Asus P5E
Proc: Intel Core 2 Duo E8400
RAM: G. Skill 2 x 1GB PC6400 DDR II
CASE: Antec Sonata III
Graphics Card: ATI Radeon HD4850 512MB
HDD: Seagate Barracuda 7200.11 SATA 500GB 7200RPM ST3500320AS
OS: Vista Home Premium 64 bits SP1 OEM
I would like your opinion on this config and whether I would have problems with the bios of the P5E because of the E8400 as I thought?

My opinion is as stated above.

@ SANDESH49
Agree with the motherboard: take it or Gigabyte GA-EP45-DS3L.
Ram: why not go for 8500, and preferably Corsair Dominator or if Kingston HyperX 8500 to avoid incompatibility issues that G. Skill familiar with Asus, Gigabyte and MSI on the P45 chipset.
Agree on HDD also
Otherwise, the rest is fine.
Re: Opinion on my current configuration
Thank you for the answers.
I took P5E because I hesitate to take the P5Q-E at the start. RAM in 8500 I didn't saw any interest, in fact that's why I took the 6400 and right now I have a good echo on the G. Skill. And last time I heard most concerned problems at WD.
Re: Opinion on my current configuration
WD has no complaints lately. For motherboard, you can still check on the site regarding the compatibility with the G. Skill, it costs nothing.
Re: Opinion on my current configuration
OK. I reviewed on my config trying to optimize at best, I dropped the idea of buying the P5E and I would soon buy one WD 640GB.
Motherboard: Gigabyte GA-EP45-DS3R

RAM: Kingston HyperX DDRII 2 x 1 GB PC8500

HDD: WD 640GB

What you think, is what it is compatible and what is effective for what I do mostly games (fifa 09 online), the Internet, programming and sometimes watching movies and listening to music.
Re: Opinion on my current configuration
If you are thinking of to go for Vista 64 bit operating system than you can also go for 2 x 2 GB RAM. However, if you do not want than that is up to you. Because 64 bit operating system can support more RAM than 32 bit operating system does.
