8800 GTS overclocking

Now that have decided water cooling on the spot, I hold on and play a little with my video card. Have a BFG 8800GTX 640 Mobo and has managed to get it up to 660 MHz and 990 of memories. But after that it is the total ban. Does it seem a little too low when I saw several reach between 720-750 MHz.

Is not so comfortable on this with the clock with the accompanying graphics cards, but I guess that makes a simple error because I do not reach higher. Can be reached at the easy way to pour a little more excitement, or what should I do? I've Used rivatuner 2.11

Anybody who has some tips to share with that? Must be up a little higher because it do not even excess 56 degrees in 3dmarks with the clock I have now.

Sorry, I do not think you will get so much higher than that known that my card was 660 to get through all the tests could run some tests in 3dmark2001 in 690. So I'm sorry. Has been to me that when 320mb cards came, it was certain that was a little higher vcore original, and therefore went higher.

It is 8800GTX 512 cards capable 750-800 .. due to 65nm.

So the right course sad to hear ...

But not much you can do about it ... more than change the video card at the time.

May well give me on CPUN now that instead :biggrin:

My 8800GTX 640Mb makes 702 / / 2150 stable with DD water blocks.
