How to make a computer a server ?

Hi,
I had installed windows 2003 enterprice edition.
Now that is in WORKGROUP, i want to give that sys as domain server.
And i want to install roaming profile.
Please tell me the ways how can i do this.


My situation is like this.

The server is in U.S.
A VPN connection
sharing the vpn by 10 sys in INDIA using roming profile, these sys saving the roming profile in U.S. server.
In between client sys and the vpn connection there is linuxnod.
How can i make it works.
Please Its Verey urgent.
Please respond for this ASAP.

Hello All
I want to know the solution of o a simple problem but its big for me.
I am new to this field.

I have installed WIN 2003 Server Enterprise R2 on one PC to make it server.
and on client PC I have installed Vista Ultimate.

Now I want that my client PC takes softwares from server PC.
means when server is on softwares get run, and when server is off then softwares dont run.

may be my question is not fully understandable, but pls try to solve my problem.

Connectivity is showing on both PCs

Well, this can be done only if both the computers are using the same services from its same ISP. Other than that I dont know enough, someone might be able to asist you soon.
