Error launch Partition Magic

I wanted to make some manip with my hard drive using PowerQuest PartitionMagic 8.0, but after installing it, not run!

Error: Init failed: 117 Partition's drive letter cannot be identified

I am running Windows Vista Home Premium.
How?

are you on the compatibility between pqmagic and vista?

Basically, I have to make a floppy? I'm on a laptop So no floppy drive!

otherwise there is gparted that works very well.
