Virus test at the Words startup
Hello,
whenever I WinWord 2003 Start (under XP prof SP3) will imagine many a virus check on the status bar.
I have F-Prot antivirus for Windows and the Office suite excluded, but it helps nothing, is still checked. Under Word settings do I find no indication whether and how such an examination on or off can be.
Since the start of the program lasts very long, I would tip for a very grateful. In addition, other programs from the Office suite is not checked!
Re: Virus test at the Words startup
Word automatically uses the virus scanner.
Under Norton, for example, there is an option, which is called "Office plug-in to activate"
NOD32 for example, under the "Settings" - for F-Prot is also an option available.
In Word, under Tools - Options - Security - macro security - "security level" to "Medium" - and "trustworthy manufacturer" options "all installed add-ins and templates trust" and "Access to Visual Basic project trust" to activate.

Re: Virus test at the Words startup
Thank you for your prompt response. F-Prot can "unloved" files or directories are excluded, I - up to a Wordvorlage - well done, which I have now also excluded.
The macro security was low, because I done as the proof reader and use a PDF printer driver and I can not every time these screens with warnings wegklicken wants. Word has it, but these files are scanned for viruses and thus came the long load times agreement. While it is still showing that the virus test runs, but it goes a lot faster
The reference to the MS-Info has revealed nothing, because I do not have a "*. wll" - files on my computer and found the add-ins of course I want to keep.
